The Wind is my Nemesis

Seriously can anybody just agree with me that wind is really annoying? It tries to flip up your skirts/dresses, it makes you eat your own hair and blocks your vision, it gets in your mouth and tries to choke you out. Or maybe that's just me...

Anyway, it was a rather windy day which is why my hand is always up by my bangs preventing me from eating them. I wore this to a baby shower. I feel like the blues and green together are very spring-like! 

You'll most likely see me knot up my shirts a lot this spring in summer. I love how it accentuates your waist and stays put much better than simply tucking in your shirt. 

This crushed velvet skirt started out it's life being a long maxi skirt, but since it is spring now i chopped it up and made it shorter. I've seen skirts selling like this (well, obscenely short versions) at American Apparel for insanely high prices so i was happy to be able to make my own!
