Greg, as per norm, was rushing me out of the house this morning (he hates being late for anything lol) but i was able to snap a few quick pics of my outfit before we left.
I scored us a few free movie passes to the premier of, "Escape from Planet Earth", playing at 10:00am at the Mall of America. The only catch was that you are not guaranteed a seat so you're supposed to get there early. We already live about 45 minutes away so we left our house at 8:00am. Thus i pulled together a rather grungy look. I'm typically pretty high maintenance but i refuse to get up any earlier than i have to on a weekend. ;)
It worked out great. We got there in enough time where we weren't standing in line very long and we were still able to get great seats. And it turned out to be a 3D movie, so an even better bargain!
Greg and I took Teegan to Rainforest Cafe for lunch and then "the boys" went off to play legos while i did a little shopping. Win, win!
But not shopping for me! I'm still staying strong on my, "no shopping for clothes or accessories" month. It helps that i can put together outfits like this, a combo i've never worn before, using everything i already had. High five to me!
LOVE THE BOOTS! Oh my.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely high five for you! Omgsh, I am seriously loving this outfit - so what I'd wear :)
ReplyDeleteThe slouchy beanie, cool boots, and tough leather vest are such a fantastic combo.
Oh, and score on the movie!

ReplyDeleteThose shooooes.. they look like they could be Doc Martens! What awesome knockoffs! I had to read where they were from haha before I knew for sure. That deep red color has to be one of my favorites that came from this season. <3

Wow, you make me wish I'd gotten the burgundy rather than black boots. Those are ADORABLE! I'm crazy about your biker vest and beanie too. You look tough, but sweet.
